Imagineering in Education: A Framework to Enhance Students' Learning Performance and Creativity in Thinking

Imagination is a powerful engine that can drive people to bring their ideas, dreams, and desires to reality. The imagination constructs stories that lead people to create. Combining imagination with engineering knowledge creates inventions which initially might seem fantastic. The authors provide in this article a brief overview of a successful working paradigm, beginning from imaginative stories to reality. They provide an illustration of a possible contemporary framework for education, using the Imagineering concept to enhance students' learning performance and creativity in their thinking.

การจัดการเรียนการสอนวิชาสารสนเทศศาสตร์ในประเทศไทย

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อสังเคราะห์หลักสูตรระดับปริญญาตรีที่เกี่ยวข้องกับวิชาชีพสารสนเทศในประเทศไทยและวรรณกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้อง เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เอกสาร (Content Analysis) จากหลักสูตร เว็บไซต์ และเอกสารงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง ซึ่งผลการวิจัยมี 3 ข้อดังนี้ 1) หลักสูตรที่เปิดสอนในระดับปริญญาตรีในประเทศไทย มีทั้งหมด 34 หลักสูตร ใช้ชื่อที่แตกต่างกัน 9 สาขาวิชา แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มสาขาวิชาบรรณารักษศาสตร์และสารสนเทศศาสตร์ จำนวน 9 หลักสูตร กลุ่มสาขาวิชาสารสนเทศศาสตร์ จำนวน 19 หลักสูตร และกลุ่มสาขาวิชาการจัดการสารสนเทศ จำนวน 6 หลักสูตร ส่วนมหาวิทยาลัยที่เปิดสอนจำแนกเป็น มหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐที่เปิดสอนมี 8 แห่ง มหาวิทยาลัยในกำกับของรัฐที่เปิดสอนมี 7 แห่ง มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏที่เปิดสอนมี 16 แห่ง และมหาวิทยาลัยเอกชนที่เปิดสอนมี 3 แห่ง 2) โครงสร้างหลักสูตรของหลักสูตรที่เกี่ยวข้องกับวิชาชีพสารสนเทศ ส่วนใหญ่กำหนดจำนวนหน่วยกิตวิชาบังคับตั้งแต่ 31-46 หน่วยกิต (ร้อยละ 52.94) และกำหนดจำนวนหน่วยกิตวิชาเลือกตั้งแต่ 22-32 หน่วยกิต (ร้...
